We offer Registered Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture and various types of massage treatment.
Registered Massage Therapy $60+HST
Scope statement: Section 3 of Massage Therapy Act 1991 states:
"The practice of Massage Therapy is an assessment of soft tissues and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function"
Techniques used include but are not limited to:
1) Swedish Massage
2) Hydrotherapy
3) Myofascial release
4) Lymphatic drainage
5) Remedial exercise and home care
6) Joint mobilization
Registered Massage Therapy helps to relieve muscle tensions, joint pain, decreases stress related conditions, improves circulation, and creates a sense of well-being. Registered Massage Therapy is a regulated health care profession in Ontario under governing body of College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
CMTO sets Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Massage Therapy is regulated under Regulated Health Professions Act and Massage Therapy Act. Registered Massage Therapists have completed 2200 hours of education and have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neurology, assessment, manual techniques and pathology.
Payments for Registered Massage Therapy:
Most health insurance plans cover RMT. It is suggested that you check your policy for coverage and whether or not your plan requires a doctor's note for a treatment.

Payment is received at time of treatment and receipt will be presented to you, which can then be sent to your health insurance company for reimbursement.
Acupuncture $60+HST
Acupuncture deals with the treatment and prevention of disease by stimulating certain points on the body with special acupuncture needles. The energy flows along pathways to internal organs and at those points the flow can become blocked resulting in symptoms such as pain. Acupuncture can open those blockages and restore the flow of Chi throughout the body, the pathways, and organs.
Practiced in China and other asian countries for thousands of years, the acupuncture is one of the key components of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine is not only effective in relieving pain but also in addressing the underlying causes of disease, thereby restoring the balance to the body, mind, and spirit.

Auricular Medicine $50+HST
It is a European ear acupuncture system. Auricular medicine is a reflex technique that reveals imbalance in the physical, mental and emotional body. The system of Auricular medicine was formalized by Dr. Paul Nogier, a French neurologist whose career influences thousands of physical today. Auricular medicine restores balance to the body. It can begin and sustain a healing process.
Acupressure Therapy$50+HST
It is an ancient healing art that applies finger pressure to key points on the surface of the skin, thereby stimulating the body natural self healing abilities. These points are the same as those used in acupuncture. One kind of acupressure therapy takes the form of sustained pressure on those points also called "acupuncture without needles" or "Jin shin do" allows for release of those points by generally holding them down while monitoring images and feelings that may emerge. The third more dynamic form of acupressure involves pressing points along energetic pathways or meridians in a rhythmic sequence similar to japanese "Shiatsu".
Hot Stone Therapy $80+HST
This great treatment has its roots in ancient worlds. The techniques involve Swedish massage, and placing water-heated. smooth stones of various sizes on comfort points of the body. Sensation of warmth and comfort brings a great experience, which can relieve pain, promote harmony and balance. Aromatherapy, which is an addition to this treatment, has extremely positive effects on patient's moods, and feeling of well-being.
